The 18C027 is a neutral pressure needle free connector in the Chi Feng Gen2 family, configured as a Y connector for 3.8mm tubing. It gives the set a Y-site access point on a 3.8mm line, and the connection is made without a needle at the access point. The housing and split septum are medical grade plastics with no metal parts, and the luer geometry follows ISO 80369-7 so the connector mates with any device built to that standard. Chi Feng supplies this part as a component or sub-assembly to medical device manufacturers; market clearance for the finished device is held by the finished device manufacturer. Custom color, custom material and customer branded packaging are available.
